We hope the following information and parking options are helpful to Mesa
families, the team, and to C.U.

As guests of C.U., and being reliant on the C.U. pool facilities, the team needs Mesa families to respect C.U. facilities, staff, and regulations including parking. The team encourages families to purchase parking passes, and/or park at meters or free lots. Parking, sitting in, or idling cars without a required pass while waiting for kids is not acceptable. Please refer to the parking map.
The type of parking permit for Lot 380 (just west of the competition pool) varies depending upon how early in the afternoon you would like to park. A Premium PM Permit (allowing parking after 3 p.m.) costs $78, an Extended PM Permit (4:00 p.m.) costs $67, and a Regular PM permit (5:30 p.m.) costs $56. The Permits will be valid from mid-May through July 25th. The passes indicate that they are valid from 5:30 p.m., but we have been assured that they will be OK starting at 4:45 and that the gate will be up. They will also work for the older swimmers that attend the morning practices.
In order to purchase a parking pass at CU, a parent has to fill out a CU Parking Permit Application (pdf). The application has to be approved before you can pick up your permit. You can mail or fax the application ahead of time so you do not have to come in twice. CU Parking office can also take payment for the permits by credit card over the phone and then mail the permits.
The CU parking office is open 7:30 - 5:00, M-F. Check, cash, or credit cards accepted.
At our request, C.U. is also offering a limited number (6) "drop-off and pick-up" passes for Lot 386 (next to Carlson pool) which are good for 15 minutes only from mid-May through July 24th. Since we've only been allocated approximately 6 such passes, the priority is for families of younger swimmers. The cost is approximately $14.50 per month during the swim season.
